NJAST - Board Member
(Board Member since 2008)
Hi every one, Mick Blencowe here. I have been a CST for quite a few years now. Initially I trained in the United Kingdom and qualified in 1978. From there I moved to the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia for 7 years. I returned to the UK and went back to school to obtain a Further Adult Eucation Teachers Certificate. While I was in the UK, I was part of a team that taught Operating Department Practice at Surrey University. I came to the USA to be with my wife in 2001 and passed my CST examination in Sept 1991.
I am the new boy on the team so I'm learning all about NJAST. I feel very strongly about CST's and believe we must all hold certification for starters and would eventually like to see us move onto having a Licence of our own. I hope it comes quicker than it did in the UK, that took 30 years (no joke).
